Netbooks, Are they worth it?, Here's my Breakdown. standard $329.00

Netbook $329.00:
1). Windows 7 Starter.
2). No CD-ROM.
3). 10.1" Tiny display.
4). Low quality Intel Atom n450 CPU 1.6GHZ
5). 1GB DDR2 Ram
6). 5400RPM 250GB Hardrive
7). Low quality onboard graphics

Laptop $329.00:
1). Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
2). DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support
3). 15.6" HD Widescreen display
4). Intel Celeron 900 mobile CPU 2.2GHZ
5). 2GB DDR2 Ram
6). 7200RPM 250GB Hardrive
7). A little bit better onboard graphics

Clearly the Laptop is a better choice, unless you need a smaller PC,
that consumes a few watts less power.
Pay attention to what you are actually getting.
Also consider paying a little extra for a laptop,
because you will need to purchase more accessories for the Netbook, like an External CD-ROM.

PC Gamers, and Enthusiast lost a dear friend.

ChrisRay, 1983 - 2010
3D Graphics Enthusiast, Forum Moderator, and Gamers' Friend

Chris was always very helpful to everyone @ the SLI forums.
Very insightful of technology, and helped me many times.
Just reading his reviews, and post were very knowlageable.

You will be missed, Rest In Peace...

A simple video review:
- Using Fraps to create the videos
- And Windows Live Movie Maker to edit the video
- Very Acceptable movie
