Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - I like it.
I have a desk with an enclosed side for my PC tower. It has an opening in the back for airflow, but it was always hot in there. This little fan set up in the back to move the air is perfect and now it stsys much cooler. Since it's USB, when my computer is off (and it's not needed), the fan is off! Very quiet. I can't even tell it's there! It could use a little more umph in the movement of air, but for the size, it works okay.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A reliable coolant for the PS3
I was looking for something, which could keep my PS3 cool, such as an intercooler. However, many got bad reviews. Somehow, I stumbled across this device, while searching. Due to the good reviews, I decided to try this fan, especially for the price. When I received it, I could not believe how small the fan actually was. This little fan does the job, though. Many reviewers talk about the fan's noise, and the fact it does not have an off switch. Well, I do not have a problem with that. In fact, I like the fact I do not have to manually turn the fan off. When I turn my PS3 on, the fan turns on. When I turn the game off, the fan goes off. I don't have to do anything. Isn't that what we all want? We want it to cool, while in operation of the device. The noise is not that bad in my opinion. In fact, my old PS3's fan made a lot more noise. It was hard to hear my television clearly. I can have this fan on the highest setting, and it is not noticeably loud.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - USB cooling fan.
I bought two of these. I'm shocked how well these little guys are working. I have them directed at the back of my Mac and they are keeping it nice and cool.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great cooling for Mac Mini
Bought for my Mac Mini and does a great job of cooling. Have my mac mini on pedestal and this fan is plugged into one of the USB ports. Hottest core on CPU idles at 37 C and rarely goes above 45 C (before idled above 40 C and would go to 65 C or more). I used to use SMC fan control to try to get the same result but extra fan more successful. I adjusted potentiometer so fan is still pretty quiet. Added bonus is it also cools my external firewire hard drive. Bought a second one for my WHS serverHP EX490 1TB Mediasmart Home Server (Black) and also works pretty well (temperature does not go above 47 C).

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - 1 out of 2 is silent =)
Not much I can say that's new material here, but I am mostly happy with the 2 little fans I ordered. The only weird thing is they both generate different levels of noise. On the same knob setting one fan is virtually silent while the other is... not. I didn't expect whisper quiet or anything but at least a nice steady sound. This one is intermittent in its sound. Still, if you've got some music or a game going you don't even hear it. I was hopeful these would shut themselves off when I put my PC to sleep. They don't unless I power it down.
