 Rating:  - Works great and low priceI bought this because my computer would not recognize the SDHC card from my digital camera. I plugged it into the USB port and in a few moments my computer said the new hardware was ready to use. I plugged the SDHC card into it, and I was able to access all of my pictures. Since it was such a low cost item, I purchased two of them just in case one didn't work, but they both worked. Rating:  - USB SD Memory Card ReaderThis card reader is a very cheap, handy way to transfer files from an SD memory card to a computer. Basically it turns any SD memory card into a USB drive. I mainly use it to transfer images on my DSLR camera to my computer and it has made the process faster and easier. Instead of attaching a USB cable between by camera and my computer, I take the memory card out of the camera, put it in the SD Memory card reader and attach the reader to my computer. It's easier this way because I just have the USB sticking out of my computer instead of a cable and large camera which can be a balancing act sometimes, depending on where I am. (I use a laptop.) One downside to it is that it's not completely solid. It feels a little fragile, I had to wrap it in electrical tape because it started to fall apart a few days after I got it. Read More Rating: - Exactly what I need to download to my computer.I had recently purchased a SD card for my new Nikon Camera and without this tool I would not have been able to download the photos to my computer. Easy to use and very fast. Could not be happier with the purchase. Rating:  - Stopped After A Couple DaysAs the title says it stopped working after a couple days. I used it primarily at work on a laptop running Windows XP...worked well while it did. However,the laptop started popping up the "USB device not recognized" message and nothing I did got rid of this .Eventually nothing at all happened when the device was plugged in i.e. no power to device and OS did not recognize it. My advice, don't be penny wise and pound foolish....spend the extra money and cop something that will last. I have a Transcend card reader that does the job. Rating: - an awesome buy!!!This product has actually performed better than expected. I thought with the price I paid, even if I got a months use out of it, what the hay. Well it's been over a month, I use it everyday. The card reader is great and I haven't got 1 complaint. The shipping was quicker than anticipated as well. All in all, an awesome buy. I will definatly look for this seller in the future as well. |
