Here's a little tip for you MacGyver fansFirst off, I want to say that this is exactly what I needed; some way to use a cell phone as a simple mp3 player for both headphones and to connect to my car stereo via a cassette adaptor. It works, I've tried it with multiple phones including an old Motorola Q, a new LG env3 and a couple of really odd AT&T phones and I can get stereo sound of a decent quality out of all of them, despite the fact that it says "Not compatible with LG." The only downside is that there *is* a trick to it. When I got it, I immediately noticed that I got only mono sound when the wire pointed to the bottom of the phone (the most natural and least-likely-to-bend position,) but what was even more interesting was that I got stereo when it pointed up. My best guess is that the spacing doesn't quite match up on the LG jack and this adaptor (maybe because the jack is designed for a headset,) which would explain why the claim it won't work, but if you notice, you can get much ...
