Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A dated relic of a game
Novalogic has apparently not advanced out of 2003. The graphics in this game are very dated and choppy. There is nothing visually stunning about this game. The map is just one gigantic repeating square of green. The buildings are just walls with no decals or interactive items. Its like the developers had no motivation to be creative and just made a rehash of their former crappy games. If you like glitchy gameplay and incredibly stupid AI then you will love this game otherwise stay away. I would laugh if Novalogic actually tried to sell this game for money. They should pay you to play it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - dfx xtreme2
Beware of buying this game,as the one I bought will not activate with Novalogic activation code sent with the game.
It will say the code is already being used on another game and give a key code of k023.
I have sent many messages to Novaworld to help resolve this issue with no success.
On Novaworld's forum there are many people on there with the same problem and as far as I can tell the problem has not been resolved for them either.......

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Got Bugs
Some of it is fine, but it has bugs in it. One scenario (Barricade) won't let you win and therefore blocks any other scenarios that follow. Other internet reviews confirm this is an ongoing problem. Under the circumstances, I can't recommend it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - why you should and should not buy this game
I'm one of those "diehard" nova fans. I have played all their games in Delta Force Series, my favorite was DF2 and DF:BHD. Then they did JOTR, it was different than traditional DF games but i liked it.

Then after came, Delta Force Xtreme in 2005. From what i observed it wasn't as well received as the others. Now 4 years later they made a sequence of DFX. One would wonder why?

funny thing is this game was never supposed to exist. In 2009 (i think in R3) Delta Force Angle Force was supposed to come out but apparently it did not.

nova had not released game in last 4 years so they sure were lacking budget. Furthermore, number of employees in nova atm is extremly low. So i'm assuming they needed more money, manpower, time, and well just about everything before they jump into DFAF. In order to do so, i believe they threw in this "fundraiser" game. Along with this game nova released "Delta Force 10th Anniversary Collection" which is basically a collection ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Multiplayer is Dead
Here's the deal... I was a huge fan of all Novalogic titles and own every single one. I'm also a member of a very well known squad who used to play DF games religiously. Problem is there is no cheat protection and the hacks slowly took over the game. But the bottom line is once a couple of Mod's outright quit because of Nova's inability or unwillingness to enforce bans and suspensions of known cheats, then the game is dead to honest players. I just looked last night at the NW servers and there was a total of 29 players playing this game. Compare that to the COD games which has thousands of on-line players to compete with along with a respectable anti-cheat protection and you would be better off to purchase non Novalogic titles. I just ordered Operation Flashpoint last Friday and will be ordering the new Modern Warfare game next month (release date Nov 11).
