Received the Rocketfish - Hard Drive Enclosure Kit for 3.5" PATA/EIDE Hard Drive RF-PHD35, it did not work. Upon contacting Ivan Ivanov, he immediately sent me a second drive. This drive worked well. I inserted a 500GB PATA drive, formated it as MS-DOS fat file structure. It was recognized by Windows XP, Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux. It is advertised to work with Windows Vista, but I did not verify this.

I used it with the linux backup software Clonezilla. Clonezilla recognized the Rocketfish - Hard Drive RF-PHD35 just fine. I used it to back up the 160GB drive that is in my Acer Aspire One netbook.

Kudos to Ivan Ivanov.

Product as described. Was missing one screw for the case but I found a screw that fit.
