Finished Rebuilding the 780i into Antec 900 2 case... Much better cable management then the old Antec 900, more holes, You can run cables over the top of the mobo. very nice upgrade.... Also instead of fan switches inside the case, Discrete Knobs on the front & Rear of the case. Not to mention the fact that it's sprayed black, Very easy on the eyes.. Modding the old Antec 900....... I'll drill a few holes and gromet for cable management.. Then I plan to spray the skeleton black, either Satin or Flat

BestBuy has a good deal on the Antec 900/2 Case, so I got one.. See Reviews Now, I'm going to transfer the 780i into the new case, then build a new system in the Antec 900.. Turns out the RMA Foxconn G31 board is good after all, one of the ram sticks is bad, So that's on RMA now.. So far I started the cable management, the 900/2 is much better.. in fact it is exactly the same as an Antec 1200 just 3 bays shorter..  I've ordered the following for the new build.. - Foxconn G31MXP-K - Intel Pentium E5300 2.6GHZ - Zalman CNPS7000C-CU Solid Copper CPU Heatsink - Corsair XMS2 2x1GB DDR2/800 4-4-4-12 (from 780i) - WD Cavier Blue 160GB SATA HDD - Lite-On CD/DVD Burner SATA I've also ordered new ram for the 780i, - Corsair XMS2 4GB 2x2 DDR2/800 5-5-5-18 This will allow for better more stable overclocking, 2 Sticks instead of 4... |

I'm not sure how This one got by me. Zalman Cnps10x Extreme CPU Cooler  I'm thinking about adding this one to the X58 Core i7 920 rig. Ofcourse I'll need to research the temps, also I think I can leave the bracket from the Zalman 9900 CNPS. They appear to be the same. That will make installing this CPU cooler a breeze. Otherwise I will need to completely disasemble the PC, due to the fact the bracket is installed from behind the motherboard. |

I updated to the latest nVidia 190.62 Graphic drivers last night, and they are great! Not sure what they added or changed from the last driver I had installed. For my GTX285 setup I noticed a smoother gaming experience in: Crysis Wars , Delta Force: Black Hawk Down , and Call Of Duty MW. WAW. I also noticed about approx: 7c temp drop @ load on all GTX285s. |

I recieved my BETA KEY for the "Shattered Horizon" PC game. Only had a few minutes to play last night I cannot talk about the game outside of the Shatered Horizon Community, And I cannot post any videos either. Or it will be a breech of the "terms of the NDA" Sorry, I will definately let everyone know about the game when we are allowed to talk ouside. |
